Yankee Dryer Cylinder Thermal Insulation

In the paper mill, liquid heat insulation coating ISOLLAT-02 is applied to the side surfaces of the drying ovens, which have an average temperature of 150°С in the drying (Yankee) cylinders, and the surface temperature after insulation is reduced to degrees close to the ambient temperature (50°С and below) and optimum heat efficiency is achieved.

ISOLLAT – is a new generation nanotechnology heat insulation material with a thixotropic structure consisting of a mixture of general purpose, microscopically expanded air-filled full silicate microceramic spheres, polymer resins, stabilizers, pigments, modifiers and a binding liquid polymeric structure. It is a liquid heat insulation coating that can operate at the same performance for many years in industrial facilities and structures in the -60°С/+1200°С band.
