Purpose:

The aim of this project at the Doğuşçay Afyon Sugar Factory was to conserve heat lost from the surface of the three rotary trommels.

Result:

The trommels were insulated with Isollat-Effective. This allowed for the completion of the application with seamless, thin, lightweight insulation that leaves no open spaces.

Scope:

In calcination furnaces operating at high temperatures (350 °C and above), classic rock wool insulation deteriorates quickly and causes energy losses. The Isollat-Effective method is a composite thermal insulation system developed to address these problems.
Its layered structure incorporates:

• Isollat ​​02 and 04 coatings
• Pinned glass fiber
• Glass mesh and anchoring systems are used together to achieve high heat resistance, strong adhesion, and long service life.
• Minimum service life of 10-15 years
• Jointless, thermal bridge-free structure
• No external cladding required
• Easy maintenance and repair
