Thermal Insulation of Architectural Monuments and Historical Works

tarihi eser
When renovating (restoring) the facades of buildings and monuments with complex shapes that are of great social importance, it is important to preserve their unique architectural appearance.

Ordinary insulation materials cannot successfully solve this problem. Such materials, being thicker, make the structure heavier and require a lot of effort to apply. Consequently, they cause partial destruction of the walls.

Loose placement of expanded polystyrene or mineral (basalt) wool boards on the insulated surface leads to "cold-heat bridges" and gradual destruction of the facade.

The advantages of using Isollat insulation in the renovation (restoration) of architectural monuments are:
  • Since the material is easy to apply, the completion time is fast;
  • The presence of thixotropic substance in the insulation product allows application on the working surface in a single step with a thickness of 1-1.5 mm, which eliminates the need to include the mandatory drying phase in the working time until each layer polymerization is completed.
  • The insulation easily and well "sticks" to all kinds of wall materials used in construction (brick, concrete, wood, natural stone);
  • The insulation is easily colored;
  • It lasts more than 30 years. Preserving the original color of the surface exposed to negative environmental factors such as ultraviolet rays, car exhausts, emissions of industrial enterprises is very important during the reconstruction phase.
  • In this case, it is recommended to use Isollat-Nano insulation, which has a photocatalytic effect and self-cleaning effect from organic pollutants.
