Isollat Insulation Tester
Reason:
It is the insulation test provided by ISOLLAT material in applications at 150ºC, 300ºC and 500ºC considering the low heat insulation coefficient.
Result:
Three different degrees of operating resistance system has been designed in the test. It is similar to the conditions of piping and process equipment in industrial facilities operating under temperature conditions of 150ºC, 300ºC and 500ºC. Both the surface temperatures of these resistances operating at different degrees and the temperatures of the insulated surface have been seen in the test devices in the picture.
1. Resistance surface temperature: 498ºC
1.Isollat insulation surface temperature: 51ºC
2. Resistance surface temperature: 294ºC
2.Isollat insulation surface temperature: 53ºC
3. Resistance surface temperature: 145ºC
3.Isollat insulation surface temperature: 52ºC
Note: The temperature of the Isollat insulation surfaces in the main application should be lower than the temperature of the tested insulation surfaces. Since three of the resistances are working at the same time and due to the stray heat coming from the sides, the temperature of the insulation surfaces is slightly higher (5ºC-10ºC).
