ISOLLAT - 05-Fire Protection Paint -Intumescent Paint (Protection Time: 60min - 90min - 120min)

ISOLLAT-05 is a fire protection paint which is developed for steel constructions, cables and other equipment. Fire protection resistance is minimum 60-90 and 120 minutes depending on the need.
It is a suspension of flame retardant fillers in polymer water emulsion composition that swells with high temperature. The fire retardant properties have been determined by both accredited certification bodies and test centers in accordance with the conformity certificates and test reports issued considering the law.
It is recommended that the product should be applied on fire resistant paint materials such as urethane-alkyd or vinyl chloride vanish to provide both decorative properties and increase resistance to weather conditions.
Isollat-05 fire paint swells up to 100 times its volume in the event of a fire, forming penokoks (air porous thermal insulation layer). This layer prevents the metal from overheating and increases the fire resistance for at least 120 minutes and prevents the steel of the structure from collapsing due to overheating.
The coating fully complies with the fire safety requirements (Federal Law of July 22, 2008 No. 123-ФЗ) and the technical regulation GOST R 53295-2009 "Fire Protection Tools for Steel Structures". General conditions. Method for determining fire retardant efficiency. " It provides a fire resistance for the limits of 60, 90, 120 minutes (4th, 3rd, 2nd group fire retardant efficiency according to GOST R 53295-2009).
Considering the unit price list of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, it is a water-based acrylic modified polyurethane nano-resin-based paint that is resistant to open flame (providing non-flammability) with the number 04.506/A10.

CONSUMPTION AND RECOMMENDATION

COLOR : White. It can be colored with pigment. Moreover, water-based or synthetic-based paint can be applied on it.
DRYING TIME: Drying time of a single layer up to 3rd degree according to Ambient Temperature

Less than 4 hours at +5°C Ambient Temperature

Less than 2 hours at + 20 °C Ambient Temperature

PACKAGING: In 10/ 19 L PP buckets.
SHELF LIFE : It can be used 24 months from the date of production if stored in original, unopened and undamaged packaging.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Please store in a dry and cool environment at temperatures above 0ºC.
CONSUMPTION: The application thickness and consumption have been determined considering the protection period (60, 90, 120 minutes) requested in the technical specification of the equipment or project to be protected and the thickness of the metal material to be applied. The application thickness and consumption table which have been prepared according to fire protection tests by accredited laboratories are given in detail below.
WARNING: isollat-05 fire protection paint can be used indoors without a protective paint layer. However, it is used together with the pentaphthalic, urethane-alkyd and chlorovinyl based top coat paint in the technical data sheet for long-term durability against external atmospheric conditions for outdoors.
